Review: Majestic Pure Fractionated Coconut Oil *sponsored*
Michelle Amanda Beauty, Skincare coconut oil, hair care, oils, review, skin care, sponsored 1
This oil applies very smoothly to my skin and spreads easily. I like to use it after a bath and before bed because it absorbs so quickly but still leaves my skin feeling smooth. The only thing I dislike about this product is the packaging. It can get pretty messy with the pop top nozzle and I probably would have liked a pump or a dropper better because they tend to be less messy
OTHER USES:
Coconut oil one of the most versatile oils. It’s used as moisturizer, in recipes for tooth paste, as lip balm, in coconut shampoo. It’s used a natural deodorant, for face wash, as hair conditioner, eye makeup remover, as shaving cream, in sunburn remedies, for massage, aromatherapy and many other household uses and benefits.

I told you guys a few weeks ago that I’d be reviewing some more of Instanatural’s products soon. So here they are. I was sent these products for review but honestly I think I’m kind of in love with this company now. All of their products are natural or organic and use quality ingredients while maintaining an affordable price point.
Instanatural sent me another of their skin serums to try because I didn’t exactly love the first one I tried. The serum comes in a heavy glass bottle with a dropper. The Vitamin C Serum has been working amazingly for me. It goes on very smooth and has a nice citrus scent that fades quickly. I feel like the Vitamin C Serum has helped to keep my skin smooth and my pores nice and tight
They also sent over two hair products, an Argan Oil Hair Mask and a bottle of 100% Argan Oil. Being a natural girl, I’m something like a product junkie so I was really eager to get my hands on this mask. The mask has a thick creamy consistency and smells like lemon pound cake! I love sweet smells so they pretty much had me at hello. I’ve used the mask in lots of different ways, on wet hair, on dry hair, and for a braid out. This mask makes my hair feel very soft and moisturized when used as a deep conditioner. When I’ve used it for a dry braid out I liked to use the 100% Argan Oil as a sealant to lock in the moisture. I’m not a fan of Argan Oil on my skin because it’s a little too heavy for my taste but it works great for locking in moisture to my hair during this ridiculously cold winter weather (hey -20 wind chills I’m looking at you). The Argan Oil comes in a nice glass jar with a convenient pump, which I love cuz I’m clumsy and I spill everything. I’m loving both of these products right now to help keep my hair from turning into hay in the cold.

Review: Valentia Even Glow Serum

I’ve been experimenting with a lot of different skin care products lately and I think I may have found a gem with this one. This serum has a creamy consistency and a delicious citrus smell. I’m always on the hunt for something to moisturize my ridiculously dry skin and this product does a very good job of adding additional moisture before I apply my daily facial lotion. I don’t have any problems with wrinkles or sagging skin yet but I have seen improvements in my skins overall tone and texture.

Pore Tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner
InstaNatural’s Pore Tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner is an all-in-one hydrator infused with anti-aging ingredients to leave your skin feeling refreshed and balanced with each pump of its formula. Vitamin C in the mist helps renew skin by neutralizing free radicals and UV-related damage to protect and strengthen the epidermis. Witch Hazel’s astringent properties purify oily skin and tighten pores, all while the sulfur drives deep penetration of these ingredients to increase skin elasticity. With each spray, your face is restored to natural pH levels and is in prime condition to absorb serums and moisturizers effectively.
One of my favorite thing about the Vitamin C Toner is that it comes in a spray bottle. It’s so refreshing and easy to just mist a few spritz all over my face. The toner also has light citrus scent that’s very invigorating. I love plain old witch hazel as my regular toner and this one has witch hazel as it’s base with just a few added vitamins and ingredients to make it even more nourishing to the skin.
The Hyaluronic Acid Serum comes in a nice heavy glass jar with a dropper top. The dropper doesn’t always pick up the product well enough but it’s not a major problem. The serum has the consistency of hair gel but emulsifies well when you rub it into the skin. That’s about where the good things stop for me and this serum. Although it contains Hyaluronic Acid I did not find it to be very moisturizing at all. After reading the ingredients I noticed that it contained witch hazel, glycerin (which can be drying at low dew points), and very few oils. I think that this serum would be fine for the summer or for someone with oily skin but I’m going to have to pass on finishing this bottle for right now. I plan on reviewing another one of Instanatural’s serums that has more of an oil base to it in the near future so keep a look out for that.
InstaNatural’s Youth Express Eye Gel comes in a nice pump container. I love pumps because they keep the germs out. The gel has a hair gel like consistency similar to the serum but a little thicker. I’m loving this eye gel thus far. It really helps to get rid of the bags under my eyes (thanks grad school!) and make me look more awake. It also has a light cucumber scent and feels cool when you apply it. It’s like a mini trip to the spa. Although it’s an eye gel the label says you can use it all over your face. I think this would be amazing to stick in the fridge on a hot day and apply all over your face for a quick relaxing treatment.
