Review: Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey

The illuminator addict is back with
Laura Geller’s Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator is described as having an:
“innovative hybrid texture applies like a sheer powder but feels like a cream, creating a translucent wash of luminous color that can be swept all over the face for a lit-from-within glow. A fresh 3-D design captures the look of your favorite Italian dessert, and lasts until the very last application.”

I need another illuminator like I need a hole in my head but here we are. I just couldn’t resist how adorable “Gilded Honey” is. “Gilded Honey” is a gorgeous shade described as an “effervescent caramel honey”.  The color actually reminds me of BECCA’s “Champagne Pop” but with less of the almost holographic reflectiveness. The product applied smoothly to my cheeks and was easy to blend with no patchiness. I found that I liked applying it with my Real Techniques Setting Brush more than I did the RT Fan Brush. The setting brush gave a more concentrated and precise application than the fan brush for me. “Gilded Honey” wore all day with minimal fading for me.
