Review: Danessa Myricks Enlight Illuminators
Some people may be sick of it but I refuse to let highlighting die. My soul and face will glow until the end of time!
I purchased three more shades to keep me shining from Danessa Myricks Beauty. I’ve been seeing her highlighters all over her Instagram but I could barely find any blogger reviews and swatches so I bought these blind. eek! Luckily they’re gorgeous!
These loose highlighters come in a pretty sturdy jar with a sifter that you can open and close for more control. I really appreciate that little touch because the one thing that I’ve always disliked about loose products in general is that they can be so messy but I haven’t really had that problem with these so far. The powders themselves are finely milled and blend into the skin beautifully. I’ve been using a fan brush and a light hand because these babies are intense! I love that these give off a lot of shine and multidimensional reflect/glow with these, my favorite type of highlighter tbh.
Gocha Glow, Aura of Attraction, Aura of Serenity
Gocha Glow is described as a “duotone golden peach”. This has been my jam lately. It looks SO GOOD on my brown skin! Aura of Attraction is described as a “warm bronze champagne”. This is my second fave of the bunch, I thin it would look amazing on even deeper skin tones. Aura of Serenity is described as a “neutral tan” but it pulls more pink to me. I like the shade but I think it’s better suited for the winter when I’m less tan, I’m all about the golden glow right now!
There’s 14 shades of Enlight Illuminators, $20 each, so I’m definitely going to check out more shades when I can see them in person at The Makeup Show in November.
