Review: Foxbrim Vitamin C Moisturizer
I was recently given the opportunity to try Foxbrim’s Vitamin C moisturizer for review. This moisturizer is advertised as being lightweight, effective for all skin types, contain restorative Vitamin C and have antioxidants to help fight against free radicals. With so many Vitamin C moisturizers (and other face products) on the market right now I just had to see what was so beneficial about them. First things first I love that this moisturizer comes in a pump bottle, it keeps air and germs out of my products that are going onto my clean face.
The moisturizer itself has rich, thick consistency and no discernible fragrance just that light “natural” smell that fragrance-free products tend to have. As to being a “lightweight” moisturizer I would totally have to disagree. This moisturizer is HEAVY! I definitely don’t think this product would work well for oily skin types, it hasn’t clogged my pores over the several weeks I’ve been using it but acne prone skin types may also want to steer clear of this product just to be safe. With that being sad I actually like this moisturizer for night time use on my dry skin. It goes on heavy but my skin drinks it up and feels much more moisturized afterwards. I wish this product had SPF included because its supposed to be protecting skin and fighting free radicals, but most of skins damage comes from the sun. I honestly don’t think the Vitamin C or antioxidant have done much for my skin but it may be too soon to tell. Overall this is a nice moisturizer if you’re looking for a heavy cream type product that absorbs well but at $17.95 there are a lot of other products on the market that do the same thing and cost less.
