I was sent this product for review, so I was a little hesitant because I don’t really like to experiment with my skin care too much. I try to keep it very simple and stick with what works but the natural ingredients looked nice and I figured it wouldn’t really hurt to try. This serum does not have the traditional consistency that you think of from serums. It’s very watery and comes in a spray bottle like a toner or facial mist. I tried spraying it in my hands and applying to my face but the consistency was just too runny. I started spraying about 4 sprays directly on my face after cleansing which works way better for me. The serum dries down and feels very light on the skin, no stickiness or residue feeling. I then follow up with my regular moisturizer.
Since I’ve been using it I’ve noticed that my face is so hydrated and smooth. I have naturally dry skin especially in the cold winter weather we’re experiencing here in Michigan. I had been experiencing some slight dry patches because of the cold weather that even my regular holy grail moisturizer couldn’t help as much as I would like. This product has made a huge difference in my skin retaining moisture. My dry patches and dull areas of my skin look normal and healthy now. I’ve also noticed that my dark circles under my eyes have lightened up significantly over the past two weeks. As the semester is winding down and I’m getting less sleep than ever I’m really glad that this serum can keep my skin looking alive and healthy. Overall I really like this serum and plan on continuing to use it throughout the winter to keep my dryness under control.
