This product has been my scalp SAVIOR over the past few months. I’ve been focusing on doing more protective styles as the winter has gotten colder. While I was wearing box braids(earlier this year) and my afro puffy twists (last month) I loved spraying this product directly onto my scalp and massaging it in with my fingers. It provides almost instant relief for the itchiness that comes with protective styles leaving you with a clean moisturized feeling. I think this would also be great to relieve “the weave itch” that you get when wearing a sew in since you can simply spray between the tracks and onto the scalp. As you can see my bottle is completely EMPTY and I will be repurchasing again soon.
#TGHBPSC runs from 11/19/12 and continues for three months. Over the weekend I found some leftover Afro Puffy Twist hair from my last install and decided to try my hand at DIY twists. The results were….. mediocre… lol. I can barely braid so I’m more surprised that I actually finished with the twists attached to my head than anything but they’re not as tight and neat looking as I would like
so I probably wont post any pictures
. >.< I plan on wearing them in a bun or funky updos or under hats to hide their DIY-ness lol. Hopefully they’ll last me for two weeks and then I’ll take them down and find another protective style to try out.
I also started taking Viviscal hair vitamins && plan on taking them throughout the protective styling challenge . I’ve tried a million different hair vitamins (future biotics, hairfinity, gnc, nioxin etc) while I don’t believe they magically make you sprout hair I think they can help optimize growth. HOPEFULLY with the Viviscal vitamins and protective styling I’ll be able to gain a few inches over the next three months. I didn’t take any “before” picture #doh but my hair is currently about an inch away from BSL in the back and 1-1.5 inches away from APL in the front. So we’ll see!

Ok so people wanted to see so I took a few quick picks. They’re not the neatest #dontjudgeme lol
HAPPY GROWING GUYS!
